  DAISUKE SAKAGUCHI Street Jewellery
Daisuke's passion for art, fashion, music and the dance culture associated with it, has developed over a number of years. As a graffiti artist,
Daisuke feels strongly about the concept of identity and believes that the streets are a public catwalk, every time you are on them, they invite
you to display your work and give you the opportunity to show others your style. This philosophy, together with a BA (hons) Degree from Central Saint
Martins College in Jewellery Design, allows Daisuke to use his experiences in creating jewellery pieces unlike any other.
Collection One was first bought and stocked in 2005 by Comme des Garçons' London store, Dover Street Market. Since this launch, Daisuke's pieces
have been exhibited at Goldsmith's Hall Cufflinks Show, his jewellery has been used to promote a RUN DMC Adidas collection and is now featured in
two new publications; 'New Directions in Jewellery' and a new book from Pimp Magazine.
Daisuke Sakaguchi's latest collection is now available in London and Tokyo. It includes signet rings, bracelets and pendants as well as more unique
pieces such as sneaker tags, hoody tags and phone straps. He has also showcased his work in exhibitions such as Sian Evans Studio, Bond International
and The British Arts Medal Society, where he was awarded an 'Honorary Mention Award'.

Daisuke's knowledge of fashion has recently been acknowledged by an invitation from Philip Treacy for his jewellery to be modelled by Linda Evangelista,
in a film and fashion shoot directed by Nick Knight for Show Studio at London Fashion Week. This show was produced to help launch Treacy's Autumn/Winter '06
collection and included other models wearing his pieces, such as Erin O'connor, Alek Wek and Jade Parfitt. More recently he has been given the opportunity to
showcase his pieces in a solo catwalk show during Tokyo fashion week in September 2006 and has been asked to provide the jewellery for the launch of Diesel's
Spring/Summer '07 collection during New York fashion week. He is now working on his solo debut UK show at London Fashion Week for Feburary aswell as designing
a series of bespoke car part such as alloy wheels and gear sticks for an established British Automobile Company.
His work is used by many reknowned stylists such as Patti Wilson. Daisuke and his work has featured in a variety of publications from Italian Vogue, WGSN,
Numero through to Observer Magazine, Metro and FHM Collections.
Aside from developing his Jewellery collection, Daisuke has undertaken a number of bespoke commissions for high profile clients including Elton John,
David Furnish, Romeo and Brooklyn Beckham and Kelis. His commissions have also extended to original graffiti pieces and clothing customisation.
